Invite and manage colleagues (labs)
Send invitation
If you are working on a testing request, you can add more colleagues for dealing with it. Simply click on the options menu of the desired request and select "Add colleagues". Alternatively, you can also select this in the detail view of the request. Enter the email address of your colleagues in the appearing window and press enter. Then you can write a message and send the invitation. Invitees will be notified by email and can register to testxchange. After registration they can process the requests and they can be added to further requests. By clicking on "Remove", you can remove invitees from collaborating on the request.
ATTENTION: The invitation will only work if the person to be invited is not yet registered on testxchange.
Rights of the invited person
In the email, the invitee is asked to create a testxchange account. Once this is done, this person can perform the following actions on the request where he / she has been invited to:
- communicate with the customer of the request via chat
- read the chat history
- upload an offer or other files
- decline the request
The following actions can only be performed by the administrator of the lab account:
- edit new requests
- invite or remove other colleagues
- assign specific rights to colleagues
Manage colleagues
You can manage colleagues you have invited to requests centrally in one place in your testxchange dashboard. From there, you can also invite new colleagues to collaborate on testxchange independently of individual requests.
In your dashboard, select the "Manage colleagues" option in the "Lab profile" menu at the top right.
Here you will find an overview of all colleagues already invited to testxchange. Click the "Invite colleague" button in the upper right corner to add more colleagues to your organization.
For colleagues with the status "Invited" you can click on the corresponding button below the status to resend the invitation.
For colleagues with the status "Joined" you can adjust in the column "Privileges" whether a colleague should see all requests handled by your organization or only certain requests to which he was invited.
